أفادت معلومات صحفية أنّ “لا خلفية جنائية لتوقيف الملحن اللبناني سمير صفير من قبل السلطات السعودية, والتحقيقات تتركّز حول الآراء السياسية التي أدلى بها صفير ومنشوراته عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي”.

يذكر انه “تم توقيف الفنان والملحّن اللّبناني سمير صفير في السعودية منذ أيام،

حيث قدمت قوى أمنية كبيرة الى مكان إقامته وقامت بإعتقاله”.
